Dear A.C.T.S. Action Prayer Partners,

“For thus says the high and exalted one…”I dwell…with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and the heart of the contrite”. Isaiah 57:15 (NASB)

We won’t tell you how hot it was in Australia’s Red Centre during and after Alice Springs Gospel Crusade the week after Christmas. You must be encouraged by how your effective prayers for continued Outback revival have changed many hearts.

Two grandmothers from the Old Timer’s Aboriginal Camp

Lynette, an Aboriginal Christian grandmother and her family had all but lost hope. They live in 4th world conditions in the Old Timer’s Aboriginal Camp about a half hours drive from Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. Lynette was the only Christian living with her family in a filthy dwelling that was the “go to place” for alcohol, drugs, gambling, smoking, sex and dirty language. She was losing her fingers, toes, and personal care to diabetes.

About 6 months ago, Terry Medling, A.C.T.S. Regional Coordinator – Central Australia, was led to bring a Sunday evening outreach to Lynette’s community which was heard by all her neighbors through powerful speakers.

Seven weeks ago, Terry began taking 5 and then 20 kids swimming in Alice Springs Aqua Center for 4 or 5 hours every Saturday. When Terry showed the “Jesus for Children” film and Lynette’s granddaughter, Leandra, and 10 others responded to God’s saving grace. Lynette’s heart was warmed. When 9 year old Leandra showed the family the “Jesus for Children” DVD on Christmas Eve, the whole family was moved and attended the first day of the Gospel Crusade together. By God’s infinite grace, Lynette’s daughter, Marcia and her husband, Anthony, called upon Christ to be their Lord and Savior on Christmas.

Leandra

The next night Lynette confidently asked me to roll her wheel chair up to center stage where she shared her beautiful voice and lead 4 other Christian ladies to sing 5 inspiring Gospel songs in their language (Walpiri). Her brother, Norman, who had been most offensive in defiling their home with his bad habits, joined Lynette in confessing Christ as his risen Lord.

The next day they strapped a 4. 5 foot by 3 foot white cross on their fence witnessing to the community that their “sin center” was now a house of God. The following day Akinola Olaleye a Nigerian Christian, helped Norman pickup and remove 7 bins of trash from their yard and committed to help further cleaning the interior.

As Terry and Fred drove off on New Year’s Day to drive 2,000 km (1,400 miles) on the Outback Evangelism Trail, we stopped by to see a transformed family with the daughter, Marcia, cooking a big family breakfast over the coals. We had a real sense that Grandma, Lynette’s prayers for the 24 Town Camps around Alice Springs, backed up by yours and ours, were being answered!!

Please keep praying that the:

1: Thousands of Outback kids like Leandra will use Bible based resources in their school and or home by 30 June 2018.

2: 24+ children and 7+ adults who responded to God’s saving grace at Alice Springs Gospel Crusade and over 1,000 new Outback Christians will be fully discipled by the Body of Christ.

3: Revival amongst families in 30+ Australian Outback communities, like Alice Springs and its 24 Town Camps will continue to go and grow.

4: 60,000+ Bibles, Christian DVD’s, booklets and tracts being distributed by A.C.T.S. 160+ Volunteer Evangelists including 2,200 tracts just distributed by Ram and Monica Marrero around Brisbane, QLD will be used by the Holy Spirit for revival.

5: Our all knowing Father will provide direction and protection to A.C.T.S. Volunteer Evangelist, Christine Barbour, as she travels during the Monsoon season with God’s help.

6: 17 year old Ramon Marrero continuing to receive divine direction as he finishes leadership at a youth camp including troubled youth and then leads his “home” group in a study of John.

7: A.C.T.S. Partners, (i.e. Louise Sherman @ Bible Society – Australia) continue to receive God’s direction and resources to provide relevant publications for the neglected Aboriginal children.

Please praise God that Carol just experienced 8 hours of heart pain without any damage to her heart…… amidst much healing prayer. Carol is home after 48 hours in the cardiac care unit, and feels well and happy to now have a miracle testimony to share at a moment’s notice!

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them”. Hebrews 6:10 (NLT)

Thank you for your fervent prayers and loving action!

“Love Like Christ!”,
