The Bagot Community Church

The Bagot Community Church

Fred & Carol Schaeffer need your prayers for peace, grace and mercy as they’ve arrived in Alice Springs and have been confronted by the harsh and very different conditions but mostly the fight that the Medling’s are enduring for Malpiya – as they stand for her miraculous healing while God’s moving powerfully in their church and Aboriginal Tribal people are finding their true saviour.

We currently need daily prayer for:

  • divine protection while we travel by car, plane and bus throughout May.
  • the enemy to be stunned throughout Will Graham’s “Reality Alice Springs”, May 20 – 22 where we are serving in Kidzfest on the morning of 21st of May.
  • our remaining “Jesus for Children Tours” in Alice Springs with Ps Terry Medling, Ps Shery Lowah and Nicola Venske and Carolyn & Dan Vogler and those we are yet to meet.

Praise & Prayer Report from the first 10 days of our trip:

From Aboriginal Bagot Community Church in Darwin – The church operates in an indigenous community hall that has no walls, no usable bathroom or facilities. It’s basically a cement floor and roof. However, in our “Jesus for Children Tour” 20 children gave their hearts to the Lord. PRAISE THE LORD! Please pray for their Pastor Josephine and husband Leslie Corporal who need help in every way imaginable.

Praise & Prayer Report from the 49th Katherine Convention:
“A message of Hope was shared with over 1,000 people from different Aboriginal tribes from nearly all denominations when we came to gather as One in Christ! By loving one another, a communicated message of Hope was freely given to all who could receive it. The lesson clearly underlined forgiveness as a real tangible means of Grace. Please pray that each attendee will share this message with their communities.” Fred Schaeffer

Fred is preaching in Alice Springs for Pastor Terry and wife Malpiya Medling. They are very grateful for your prayers and need more. Terry has noticed some good changes since we’ve been praying for them while Malpiya has been hit with Dementia and mental challenges. Malpiya is a full Aboriginal tribal lady from Ayers Rock and they are seeking her miraculous & complete healing. Terry and his church are ‘Standing’ against the attack that comes through generational history and tribal lifestyle. Their church has been exploding with the Supernatural Power of God’s Spirit for 10 weeks which is drawing the aboriginal tribal people into salvation and understanding. Praise Our Lord for all He has done and is yet to do for them.
