Missionaries and world health officials agree that Aboriginal families in Australia’s Outback are the most neglected people on the face of the earth …. But who cares?

A.C.T.S. #1 job is to expand the growing list of fervent Action Prayer Partners like yourself. Please email us if you are moved to add an email and or postal address of someone who’d care to receive our letters.

Please pray that all Leaders in the Field of the Australian Outback are Christ-like in their love for each other and the lost, that they reproduce themselves through mentoring relationships, to keep themselves rested and fresh, to keep revival going and growing throughout Australia. That they never worry, always rejoice, pray, think positively and act like Christ everyday. (John 13:34, Psalm 85:6 & Philippians 4:4-9)

Below are current stories from the A.C.T.S. Outback Volunteer Evangelists. Please keep them in your regular prayers.

noeleneleomaralngurrawebLeon & Noelene Maralngura from the Darwin, Northern Territory region report that prayer covering is needed for the following communities; Bagot, Minmarama, 1Mile Dam, Knuckys Lagoon and 15Mile as they are seeking restoration for people with many choosing and returning to the Lord with strength and renewal. 15Mile is in revival and the leaders want to see the spirit of religiosity removed so that the people only worship Jesus. Leon and Neolene have been asked to visit 15Mile as much as possible rather then just on a Sunday. They’ve been invited by Phillip & Lorna Goodman whose desire is to receive God’s Spirit, be set on fire for Jesus and they specifically want to see their community of 15Mile be “turned upside down and yield to God’s kingdom.” Please keep these two couples in your prayers as they are happily storming their regions for the Lord.

Carl Musch reports that more and more Aboriginal believers have a real hunger for the Word of God. His prayer is that the Lord will raise up and trust forth labourers to join the harvest. He sees the need for people to be sent forth by the Lord, backed up by His arm of strength because no one is strong enough to do all that needs to be done unless God’s spirit truly empowers them to go the distance and breakthrough the opposition that the enemy throws into the outback. He sees training as part of the Great Commission; to teach (Matthew 28: 18-20) as Jesus told us to do – to make disciples who obey the Lord, but He calls us all to pray that God will send people into the fields with passionate, overcoming, preserving, Word confirming power.

Christine Barbour who ministers in the 25+ communities outside of Alice Springs is very grateful for the support of Bibles and children’s resources that she was blessed with through A.C.T.S. She recently travelled 300 kilometres (210 miles) over dirt tracks with lots of challenges to face but was able to share the “spot on gospel message”, give away Bibles and children’s resources.

ronpaulaturnerwebRon & Paula Turner who travel 40,000 kilometres (28,000 miles) a year, in rural and remote parts of QLD are seeing moves of God in the Outback. They recently spent time in Quilpie where they raised funds for the local school of 60 kids while serving at the local rodeo, met with local employees and shared God’s grace and love. This opened the door for them to help out next year with the town’s 100 year anniversary. When they left Quilpie a Council Officer hugged them and said, “you are a like angels from God!” Please keep their travels and this region in your prayers.
